We celebrated Eric's birthday early, but he turned 9 on the 7th April.
How time flies! He had a great day with friends and family.

Recycled Big Brothers Clothes
My practical side says - I have perfectly good boys hand me downs in dark practical colours that wont stain or show the dirt while out in the back yard playing. Isabella does not share my opinions. Here is my attempt to girlie up the boys hand me downs! I made the pants to match also.
It is kind of working :)

Mother of Ducks Lagoon
I took the kids to the mother of ducks Lagoon and it was teeming with bird life, baby cygnets and ducklings. The kids loved it!

Girls Day Out!
While Chris & the boys were having fun, the girls decided to have a day out as well. We went to the playground, did some shopping, had lunch and dessert, a bit more shopping and then a visit to the library. A lovely day with my girls!
